The mobile app provides a seamless ordering experience with location-based restaurant discovery, real-time order tracking via Food Tracker®, and multiple payment options for maximum convenience.

Technical Implementation

The Lieferando app was built using React Native for cross-platform iOS and Android compatibility. The backend leverages Node.js with Firebase for real-time database synchronization and push notifications. Google Maps API powers location services and delivery route optimization.

The payment infrastructure integrates multiple providers including PayPal, Klarna, Stripe, and Apple Pay to offer flexible checkout options. The Food Tracker® feature uses WebSocket connections for live order status updates.
